FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions at OneVM
Q: How to access IPv4 hosts?
A: To access IPv4 hosts you should consider on setting up your own NAT64 and DNS64, if you cant set up your own DNS64 and NAT64 you can try using some public nat64/dns64 services.
Q: How to bind my application to my IPv6?
A: Usually you can use ::
as IPv6 to bind to your allocated IPv6 or by directly writing it in. It works fine with express.js and other applications!
Q: How to access my VPS when I'm IPv4 only?
A: To access IPv6 host you need IPv6, if you dont have one try to use some public VPN services with ipv6 support or Cloudflare Warp also known as 1.1.1.1.
Q: Why it takes so long to create my VPS?
A: Our staff got working hours between 15:00 up to 23:00 Berlin/Time depending on age of specified staff. HQ Members got working time 15:00 - 23:00 and are responsible with OneVM Applications for VPS creation. We are doing everything manually from creating user account up to setting up your VM and we get over 5-20+ request a day!
Q: Why it takes so long to get my IPv6 /64 subnet?
A: We aren't limited (at least we can give up to 6k IPv6 /64 subnets) in IPv6 subnets. The only issue that each subnet requires new Virtual Bridge to be set up and configured on node where your VPS is located at, due our staff is already overloaded with applications we can't always do it within few days, it might take up to month to get your IPv6 /64 subnet!
